Since our nation’s birth more than 240 years ago, millions have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. As of 2015, there are 18.8 million veterans, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Even more, veterans account for 9.1 percent of all small U.S.-based small businesses, with over 2.5 million veteran-owned small businesses in the U.S., generating over $1 trillion in sales.
